Erman Saban — Biography

Erman Saban was born on 22 May 1983 in Skopje, then part of Yugoslavia and now North Macedonia. An actor of Turkish descent, he graduated from the Acting Department of the Skopje Faculty of Dramatic Arts and performs alongside his older brother, actor Ertan Saban, at the Skopje Turkish Theatre.

In 2005 he drew the attention of a visiting delegation from Turkey that had come to scout ethnic Turkish actors in North Macedonia, which led to his casting as Muhittin in Özer Kızıltan's film Takva, alongside Erkan Can and Güven Kıraç. He later played Dilaver, the district governor of Pürsıçan, in the television series Elveda Rumeli, and portrayed the character Mikail Gelashvili in the production Büyük Sürgün: Kafkasya.

In 2022 Saban appeared as Zafer in the TRT 1 series Balkan Ninnisi, which was filmed in North Macedonia, adding to a career that has spanned both film and television roles over nearly two decades.
