Ertuğrul Çetin — Biography
Born Osman Ertuğrul Çetin, the goalkeeper came into the world on 21 April 2003 in the Kartal district of Istanbul. He rose through Fenerbahçe's youth ranks and joined the club's professional squad from 2021, subsequently going out on loan first to Gençlerbirliği and then to Esenler Erokspor.
In November 2025 the young shot-stopper's name came up in a betting inquiry, and he publicly acknowledged having placed bets on two past occasions, stressing that none involved matches he himself had played in. Following that episode, Fenerbahçe terminated his contract in January 2026, citing the betting penalty imposed on him.
