Esther Acebo — Biography
Esther Acebo is a Spanish actress, presenter and reporter, born on 19 January 1983 in Madrid. She studied sports education at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and began her career hosting a children's programme before working as a reporter and presenter for a youth-oriented channel.
She drew attention with the 2016 film Los Encantados, and achieved worldwide fame playing Mónica Gaztambide — codenamed "Estocolmo/Stockholm" — in Netflix's La Casa De Papel (Money Heist), which aired from 2017 to 2021, appearing alongside cast members such as Álvaro Morte, Alba Flores, Pedro Alonso, Úrsula Corberó, Miguel Herrán and Darko Perić.
Acebo has also presented the programme Non Stop People in Spain, and appeared in the 2022 film Jaula.
