Ethem Pülgir — Biography
Ethem Ercan Pülgir (born 2 April 1993 in Samsun) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a defender. He made his Süper Lig debut on 4 May 2014.
He came to national attention early and was associated with the Turkey under-20 squad in 2013, the period of the under-20 World Cup match in which Turkey lost 1-0 to Colombia on 25 June 2013. In 2015 the newspaper Sabah listed him among the young players attracting interest from bigger clubs.
Most of his career has been spent in the Turkish lower divisions, with club records placing him at İnegölspor, Amasyaspor and Zonguldakspor. Sources conflict on his current club: the Turkish Wikipedia names Kahramanmaraşspor and the English Wikipedia names Osmaniyespor FK, while more recent club and fixture records show him with Zonguldakspor in the 2024-25 season.
