Fatih Aksoy — Biography
Fatih Aksoy was born on 6 November 1997 in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul. He began playing football at the age of eleven with Marmara University Sports Club, and after passing through the youth ranks of Anadoluhisarı İdman Yurdu and Karabekirspor, he joined Beşiktaş's youth academy in 2013, playing for its U-17, U-19 and U-21 sides. He won the Turkish championship with Beşiktaş's U-19 team in the 2014-15 season, and the following season he scored the club's first-ever goal in the UEFA Youth League.
Having caught the eye of coach Şenol Güneş, the centre-back signed his first professional contract with Beşiktaş in December 2015. He made his professional debut in a Turkish Cup match against Kayserispor on 14 December 2016, and his Süper Lig debut came on 25 November 2017 against Yeni Malatyaspor, coming on as a substitute for the injured Necip Uysal. He has also represented Turkey at youth level, featuring in the squad for the 2018 Toulon Tournament.
Standing 1.89 meters tall, Aksoy signed a new two-year contract with Süper Lig club Alanyaspor in July 2025, where he continues to play.
