Feride Bakır — Biography
Feride Bakır is a German-born footballer of Turkish descent, born on June 26, 1992, in Bonn. Standing 1.68 meters tall, she spent a significant part of her career with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, playing in Germany's top-flight women's league until 2013.
Alongside her club career, she was capped for the Turkey women's national football team. While active as a player, Bakır also pursued her education, completing a sports-focused course of study in July 2014 at the Elite School of Sports Leverkusen, a vocational boarding school built around the sports classes of the Landrat-Lucas-Gymnasium.
