Fikret Yılmaz — Biography

Fikret Yılmaz was born on 1 August 1957 in Adana. A goalkeeper during his playing career, he turned out for Süper Lig sides including Altay, Beşiktaş and Antalyaspor before moving into coaching. He is also known as the father of Turkish international footballer Burak Yılmaz.

As a manager, Yılmaz took charge of Kayseri Erciyesspor until the end of 2011, Orduspor at the start of the 2014–15 season, Balıkesirspor for part of 2015–16, and Kardemir Karabükspor ahead of the 2018–19 campaign, stepping down from the latter post in September 2018.
