Gamze Tazim — Biography

Gamze Tazim was born on 28 January 1989 in The Hague to a family of Turkish descent, growing up in the Schilderswijk neighbourhood alongside her parents and two siblings. Her path toward performing began early: at age 10 she joined the Fafa Show dance academy, and by 12 she had entered the Jeugdtheaterschool Rabarber, going on to appear in several stage productions.

Around the same time, she featured in the music videos for the Dutch rock band Racoon's songs "Laugh About It" and "Love You More". She became widely recognised for playing Noa in the youth series Het Huis Anubis, a role she reprised in the show's spin-off films Anubis en het Pad der 7 Zonden (2008) and Anubis en de wraak van Arghus (2009).

In 2012 she took on the role of Elif in the film Karışık Kebap (Mixed Kebab), further cementing her standing among young Turkish-Dutch actors bridging the two cultures.
