Gökhan Güleç — Biography

Gökhan Güleç was born on 25 September 1985 in İnegöl, Bursa, into a family of Albanian descent, and began his football career at his hometown club İnegölspor. After moving to Gaziantepspor, where he spent two seasons on the bench, he caught the eye of coach Jean Tigana and was called up to the youth national side. Midway through the 2005-06 season he joined Beşiktaş, where he won two Turkish Cups and a Super Cup as a forward. He was later loaned to Denizlispor before playing for Bursaspor, Kasımpaşaspor and Şanlıurfaspor, and earned a combined 16 caps for Turkey's U-20 and U-21 teams, scoring four goals.

After retiring from football in 2015, Güleç moved into the software and technology sector, becoming general manager of Qualcomm Türkiye in 2017, a role he still holds.
