Hakan Kutlu — Biography
Hakan Kutlu (born 14 January 1972 in Amasya) is a Turkish football manager and former player who played as a central defender.
He is one of Turkey's one-club men: from the youth team onwards, he spent 28 consecutive years at Ankaragücü. A long-time captain nicknamed "Büyük Kaptan" (Great Captain), he holds the club record with 356 top-flight appearances. He retired as a player in August 2007, became the club's sporting director and later served twice as Ankaragücü's head coach.
As a manager he briefly took charge of Mersin İdmanyurdu in January 2016 and later coached Vanspor. He was appointed Sakaryaspor manager in late December 2025, but left the club in February 2026 after less than two months.
