Hakan Yeşil — Biography

Hakan Yeşil is a Turkish footballer, born 1 January 2002 in the Ergani district of Diyarbakır, who plays as a midfielder. A youth product of Trabzonspor's academy, he signed his first professional contract with the club in 2019 and was loaned out to 1461 Trabzon that same year. He made his Süper Lig debut for Trabzonspor in a 2-1 win over Gençlerbirliği on 15 May 2021. He was loaned to Bodrumspor in 2023 and later played for Adanaspor as well.

Yeşil captained Turkey's U19 side and earned 48 caps across Turkey's youth teams, winning the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games with the Turkey U23 squad. In November 2025 he was banned for 45 days over his involvement in a Turkish football betting scandal. A cousin of footballer Mehmet Yeşil, he currently continues his career as a midfielder with TFF First League club Pendikspor.
