Hasan Ahmet Sarı was born on 21 January 1992 in the Şişli district of Istanbul and developed as a forward, representing Turkey at U16, U17, U19 and U21 youth level before moving into senior football.
Over his professional career he turned out for a string of Turkish clubs including Batman Petrolspor, Trabzonspor, Giresunspor, Fethiyespor and Manisaspor, and became known among Batman Petrolspor supporters by the nickname 'Bombacı Hasan' for his goal-scoring instincts up front. He went on to feature as a forward for various clubs across Turkey's lower divisions.
