Hasan Ali Kaldırım — Biography
Hasan Ali Kaldırım was born on 9 December 1989 in Neuwied, Germany, to a family originally from the Senirkent district of Isparta, Turkey. He came up through German youth football, playing for Koblenz and the reserve sides of Mainz and Kaiserslautern, and holds both Turkish and German citizenship. The 1.84 m left-back later moved his career to Turkey.
After starting out in Germany, Kaldırım went on to represent Kayserispor and Fenerbahçe in Turkey's top flight, building a reputation as a reliable left-sided defender. He progressed through Turkey's U-19, U-20 and U-21 national teams before earning senior caps for the full Turkey squad.
He joined Amedspor in September 2025 and spent the 2025-26 season as the Diyarbakır club's left wing-back, featuring prominently as the team pushed for the title. Reports in the summer of 2026 pointed to uncertainty over his future at the club, though he remains one of the more recognizable names in Turkish football.
