Hikmet Tuğsuz — Biography

Hikmet Tuğsuz was born on November 16, 1986 in Antalya. He graduated from the School of Physical Education and Sports at Adnan Menderes University. After taking part in a competition in the fourth grade, his coaches steered him toward athletics, where he went on to achieve many successes. Guided by national team coach Ertuğrul Oğulbulan, he moved into the decathlon. Alongside his athletic career he also works as a coach, training the leading head wrestlers of Kırkpınar. He stands 1.93 meters tall and weighs 98 kilograms. In 2019 he became widely known by competing in Survivor Türkiye-Yunanistan, broadcast on TV8.
