Hilal Özdemir — Biography
Turkish television anchor Hilal Özdemir was born in the Netherlands on 23 November 1988. She trained in Media and Communication Systems at İstanbul University and went on to complete a master's degree in media studies at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Her father, Cengiz Özdemir, serves as editor-in-chief of SkyTürk. Özdemir built her broadcasting career across several outlets, appearing on Show TV, Kanal D and NTV before moving to its sports channel, NTV Spor. She subsequently fronted A Haber's morning bulletin, and today she anchors ATV's weekend edition of the main evening news.
