Hüzeyfe Doğan — Biography
Born in 1981 in Karakoçan, Elazığ, Hüzeyfe Doğan is a former footballer of Turkish-German heritage who grew up in Germany. Playing as an attacking midfielder, he turned out for clubs including Ankaragücü, Paderborn, Union Berlin, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Denizlispor and Yeni Malatyaspor, qualifying as a domestic player at Denizlispor thanks to his Turkish citizenship alongside his German passport.
He began his youth international career with Turkey's U19 side before switching to represent Germany's U20 team. Since retiring as a player, Doğan has moved into coaching and continues to live in Germany.
