İbrahim Aydemir — Biography

İbrahim Aydemir, a Turkish footballer born in Germany, came into the world in Augsburg on 19 May 1983; records show he holds citizenship of both countries. A forward, he developed through Germany's youth football system and represented clubs such as VfB Stuttgart's second-string squad and SpVgg Unterhaching. Once in Turkey, he wore the colors of Sivasspor during 2005-06, then moved on to Samsunspor and Etimesgut Şekerspor; certain sources also list him as having appeared for Turkey's B national side. From 2010 he continued his career with SV Heimstetten, a Bavarian Regionalliga club. He is not the same person as his namesake, a politician who represents Erzurum in parliament, and the two should not be confused.
