İbrahim Toraman — Biography

İbrahim Toraman (born 20 November 1981 in Sivas) is a Turkish former international footballer. A versatile defender 1.80 m tall, he played mainly as a centre-back but also featured at right-back and in defensive midfield.

He began playing football as an amateur with Sivas DSI Spor. Between 1997 and 2004 he played for Gaziantepspor, scoring 20 goals in 144 appearances. In 2004 he joined Beşiktaş, where he spent most of his career, winning a Turkish Cup (2008) and a league title (2009); late in his career he also played on loan for Sivasspor.

Toraman was capped 30 times by Turkey between 2002 and 2010, scoring one goal.
