İbrahim Yavuz — Biography

İbrahim Yavuz is a Turkish former footballer, born on 10 November 1982 in Istanbul, who played as a right-back. He came up through Gaziosmanpaşa's youth ranks and was promoted to the club's first team in the 2000-2001 season. After playing for Adanaspor from 2001 to 2004, he moved to Galatasaray for the 2004-2005 season but never made a competitive appearance there, prompting a move to Kayserispor in 2005.

Following half a season at Kayserispor, he transferred to MKE Ankaragücü for 2005-2006, making 17 appearances. In 2007 he joined Diyarbakırspor, then moved on to Mardinspor after half a season; a further season there was followed by a transfer to Boluspor in 2008, where he made 43 appearances. He moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor in 2010, and over his career also turned out for clubs including Şanlıurfaspor, Gaziosmanpaşaspor and TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor.

At international level Yavuz represented Turkey at under-17, under-19, under-20 and under-21 level, and reached the semi-finals with Turkey's Olympic national team at the 2001 Mediterranean Games, finishing fourth.
