İlayda Ildır — Biography

İlayda Ildır was born on 10 February 1996 in Istanbul and trained as an actress at the Department of Acting of Yeditepe University's Faculty of Fine Arts. She first appeared on camera in a D-Smart commercial and went on to feature in advertisements for brands including Coca-Cola, Avon, Tadını Çıkar and Yogo, entering the screen world through advertising before moving into series work.

Her television career began in 2017 with the role of Bilge in Aşk Laftan Anlamaz, and that same year she played Nazlı Korkmaz in Söz. In 2019 she reached a wider audience as Dudu in Sefirin Kızı, then joined the cast of Yürek Çıkmazı in 2022, a role she left in March 2023. Later that year she appeared as Hande in Vermem Seni Ellere, broadcast on ATV.

Across her career she has combined commercial and television acting, and in interviews has described herself as a quiet, private person off camera who feels more at ease once she is performing.
