İlkay Akkaya — Biography
İlkay Akkaya (born 26 May 1964 in Istanbul) is a Turkish singer of Alevi origin. She has been the lead vocalist of the Turkish music group Grup Kızılırmak for many years.
Known for her albums and concerts with Grup Kızılırmak, Akkaya has performed on stages across Turkey. Still active in the 2020s, she appeared in 2026 at events such as the METU Spring Festival in Ankara and the "Canlar Buluşması" gathering in Çorum.
