Jamie Bick — Biography

The German actress Jamie Bick, who is of Turkish descent, first stepped in front of the camera as a small child. Her name is most often linked with the role of Helene Steinbrück in the Vampire Sisters series and with Hanneli Goslar in the 2016 Anne Frank adaptation. Her work is centred on German television and film.

At two she posed for promotional photos, and her first jobs were Haribo and Toggo commercials. She then appeared in three episodes of Alarm für Cobra 11, none of them credited. Her film debut was an uncredited part in Ob ihr wollt oder nicht (2009). Her first leading role came in 2012 as Pia in Yoko. Vampire Sisters, also from 2012, brought her to a wide audience, and she kept the role of Helene Steinbrück in Vampire Sisters 2: Bats in the Belly (2014) and Vampire Sisters 3: Journey to Transylvania (2016). In Quality Time (2013) she played Kim.

In 2016 she played Anne Frank's childhood friend Hanneli Goslar in Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank. Around then she also guest-starred on television in Cologne P.D., SOKO Leipzig, In aller Freundschaft – Die jungen Ärzte and Tatort, and appeared in four episodes of Heavenly Bonds. Other credits include Loverboy and Dem Horizont so nah. She has taken acting lessons in Cologne, studies singing in her free time and practises Jujutsu.
