Jessica May — Biography

Jessica May is a Brazilian-born actress and model who works in Turkey. She entered Turkish television in 2017 as Bella in Yeni Gelin, her first leading role, in a series that ran for three seasons and 63 episodes. A dual Brazilian-Turkish citizen, she became a Turkish citizen in 2022.

Raised on a farm, May moved to São Paulo at 15 and began modelling. She came to the cinema in 2019 as Pelin in Dert Bende. On ATV she played Maria Yıldırım in Maria ile Mustafa (2020) and Meryem in Osman Sınav's Yalnız Kurt (2022), and in the same year she appeared in the Katakulli film series. In 2025 she played Donna Maria in both English and Spanish, and two different characters in all, in Ulug Amir ve Donna Maria.

Modelling continued alongside acting: she walked the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Istanbul, appeared in the 2018 Dosso Dossi Fashion Show with Paris Hilton and well-known Turkish models, and featured in Özdilek (2018-19) and Duru (2024) commercials. In 2018 she donated 2,000 saplings to be planted in Denizli, in 2019 she walked the runway in the Geleceğin Güçlü Kadınları project to raise scholarships for female university students, and in 2022 she won 200,000 TL on Kim Milyoner Olmak İster? to be donated to children.
