Kenan Karaman — Biography
Born on 5 March 1994 in Stuttgart, Germany, Kenan Karaman is a Turkish footballer of German birth. Standing 1.91 metres tall, he plays as a forward.
He began his career in Hoffenheim's youth system before moving to Hannover 96 in 2014. In 2018 he joined newly promoted Fortuna Düsseldorf, where he spent three seasons before leaving the club in 2021. Since September 2022 he has played for Schalke 04, where he also serves as team captain. Having come through Turkey's various youth national sides, he made his senior Turkey national team debut against Romania on 9 November 2017.
In 2026, a decisive goal from Karaman helped Schalke 04 win promotion to the 1. Bundesliga, and around the same time he said he hoped to be recalled to the senior national team and felt he had earned the call-up.
