Kenan Sipahi — Biography

Kenan Sipahi was born on 26 May 1995 in Pristina, then part of Serbia and Montenegro, to a family of Albanian descent. He began playing basketball in Pristina at the age of nine and had emerged as a promising talent in Turkey by the age of fifteen, going on to build his career there. Standing 1.97 meters tall, the point guard holds Turkish citizenship alongside his Kosovar roots and has represented Turkey's national team.

Over his club career Sipahi has played for several Basketbol Süper Ligi sides, and in recent seasons he has served as point guard for Bahçeşehir Koleji in both the BSL and the EuroCup. He has described his appearances with the national team as among the highlights of his career, and remains a closely followed figure among Turkish basketball fans and media.

Off the court, Sipahi is married to İlda Sipahi and has occasionally made headlines while recovering from injuries.
