Koray Günter — Biography
Koray Günter (born 16 August 1994 in Höxter) is a German footballer of Turkish descent who plays as a centre-back. Sources give his height as between 1.84 m and 1.85 m.
He was developed in the Borussia Dortmund academy and joined Galatasaray in January 2014. He later moved to Italy, where he spent several seasons in Serie A; in early 2023 he turned down interest from Germany and Spain to stay there. He subsequently played for Kalba in the United Arab Emirates and, from July 2024, for Göztepe in Turkey.
In July 2025 he signed for Saudi Pro League club Al-Okhdood. At international level he represented Germany at youth level before appearing for Turkey's under-21 side. Wikidata records his wife as Betty Taube-Günter.
