Leman Çıdamlı — Biography
Leman Çıdamlı (1 January 1932 – 18 December 2012) was a Turkish stage, film and television actress whose career spanned from 1974 to 2005. Born in Istanbul, she appeared in numerous films and series.
She is best remembered as "Nuriye Kantar" in Kaynanalar, which began as a 1974 feature film and continued as a television series and its remakes. Her film credits include Köyden İndim Şehire (1974), Kanlı Deniz (1974), Bizim Kız (1977), Bıçkın (1988), Zehir Hafiye (1989) and Varyemez (1991), while on television she appeared in productions such as Perihan Abla, Mahallenin Muhtarları, Gülşen Abi and Cennet Mahallesi ; one of her final roles was in the 2005 film Sen Ne Dilersen.
The mother of actress Ayşegül Çıdamlı, she died in Istanbul in December 2012.
