Leyla Kader İlhan — Biography

Leyla Kader İlhan was born on 23 July 1970 in Samsun. She studied acting in the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography at Ankara University.

She gained her first on-screen experience in 2014 with the series Hayat Yolunda, and in 2015 she appeared in the series Aşkların En Güzeli and in the feature film Senden Bana Kalan.

In 2017 she joined the cast of the series Kara Yazı, broadcast on Kanal D, playing the character Esma. The series, whose leading roles were shared by Ushan Çakır, Zeynep Çamcı, Haluk Bilginer and Emre Kınay, became the most important project of her career in bringing her to wide public attention.
