Born on 6 March 1987 in Kocaeli (İzmit), Mehmet Kutay Şenyıl is a Turkish footballer who plays as a defender. He began his career in Fenerbahçe's youth system, making his first appearance for the club in a friendly against Maltepespor.
After leaving Fenerbahçe, he spent half a season on loan at Maltepespor before moving to Düzcespor, where he played for two seasons. He then joined Gölcükspor but was unable to secure regular playing time there, and the two sides mutually terminated his contract.
He subsequently spent a season with Kocaelispor's rebuilding amateur side in the Second Amateur League, a spell that raised the possibility of a move up to the club's professional team.
