Mert Emre Ekşioğlu — Biography
Born on January 2, 2002 in Istanbul, Mert Emre Ekşioğlu is a Turkish professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard. Standing 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) tall, he currently plays for Fenerbahçe Beko in both the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) and the EuroLeague.
A product of Fenerbahçe's own youth system, Ekşioğlu strengthened his ties with the club by signing a new contract in August 2024. Speaking to the press ahead of key league fixtures in early 2026, he said the team's goal for the season was to win every trophy within reach.
