Merve Aydın — Biography
Merve Aydın was born in 1990 in İstanbul.
An athletics competitor for the Enka Sports Club, Merve Aydın won a silver medal in the 800 metres at the World Junior Athletics Championships she took part in in 2008 and at the 2011 European Under-23 Athletics Championships.
She also passed the World Olympic B standard at the Under-23 Athletics Championships and won a silver medal in the 4x400 relay at the World University Summer Games.
In 2012, at the Olympic qualifiers in Belarus, she broke the Turkish 800-metre record with a time of 2:00.23.
One of the contestants of Survivor 2014, produced and hosted by Acun Ilıcalı, Merve Aydın finished the competition in 3rd place; and she has now joined the Survivor 2018 All Star Celebrities team.
