Metin Erol — Biography

Metin Erol is a Turkish footballer, born on 24 January 1987 in İzmit, who plays in the goalkeeper position. He built a long career largely in the lower tiers of Turkish football.

He began his professional career at Kocaelispor in 2006, and subsequently played for Gölcükspor, Orhangazi Gençlerbirliği, Kocaeli Birlikspor, Tavşanlı Linyitspor, Fethiyespor, Ümraniyespor, and Giresunspor, moving between clubs across several regional and lower divisions.

Later in his career he also played for Düzcespor, extending a playing career spanning well over a decade between the sticks for numerous provincial clubs.
