Muhammed Demirci — Biography

Muhammed Demirci, born on 3 January 1995 in the Göynücek district of Amasya, is a Turkish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. His family later moved to Istanbul, where he attended Fındıkzade Primary School, and he was scouted by Beşiktaş's youth academy at age 11, gaining early fame through television sports coverage in 2006.

While playing for Beşiktaş's football academy at around age 10-11, Demirci was invited to a trial with FC Barcelona and, after two weeks in Spain, impressed the club's youth coordinator Albert Benaiges. The transfer ultimately fell through, however, due to Beşiktaş's high transfer-fee expectations and his family's reluctance to be separated from him. He signed his first professional contract with Beşiktaş for the 2010-2011 season and made his debut against Gaziantep on 3 March 2011; the club's captain at the time, Guti, publicly praised him as a future star.

After leaving Beşiktaş, Demirci continued his career with numerous clubs, and in July 2026 he signed with Elazığspor, marking his thirteenth professional club transfer.
