Muhammed Türkmen — Biography

Muhammed Türkmen (born 9 April 1986 in Ulubey, Ordu Province) is a Turkish former footballer and football manager. As a player he operated as a midfielder.

He started out with Altaş Soyaspor in 1999 and joined Fenerbahçe in 2001, playing in the youth ranks until 2005. İnegölspor gave him his first professional contract on 22 August 2005 and he stayed two years before moving on to Kocaelispor, followed by spells at Orduspor, İstanbulspor and Kartalspor; on 17 January 2011 he transferred to MKE Ankaragücü.

After retiring he turned to coaching and took charge of Kayserispor during the 2025-26 season, leading the side through a turbulent period both on and off the pitch. The club and Türkmen parted company in June 2026.
