Muhammet Özdin — Biography
Muhammet Özdin (born 10 September 1978 in Vakfıkebir, Trabzon Province) is a Turkish former footballer who played as a defender. He appeared in the Süper Lig for three clubs: Akçaabat Sebatspor from 2003 to 2005, Kocaelispor from 2008 to 2009 and Kardemir Karabükspor from 2010 to 2013.
The longest and most prominent stretch of his career came at Karabükspor, where he served as club captain. He chose to stay on in the summer of 2011, renewed his contract in 2012 and became one of the senior figures of the club's Süper Lig years.
In the closing phase of his career he dropped back to the lower divisions; the Turkish press linked him with Boluspor in early 2013 and with Karşıyaka that summer, and he finished his professional career with clubs in the second tier. He remains a frequently cited name in local coverage of footballers born in Trabzon.
