Murat Dalkılıç — Biography

Born on 7 August 1983 in İzmir, Sırrı Murat Dalkılıç is one of the well-known names in Turkish pop music, working as both a singer and songwriter. He broke into the music scene in 2008 with the single "Kasaba," then released his debut studio album Merhaba in 2010, featuring tracks such as "La Fontaine," "Külah," and "Dönmem." From 2012 onward he continued his career with the albums Bir Güzellik Yap, Daha Derine, and Epik, with songs like "Kader," "Lüzumsuz Savaş," "Bir Hayli," and "Neyleyim İstanbul'u" charting widely in Turkey.

Over the course of his career he has won two Turkey Video Music Awards and one Altın Kelebek Award. Beyond music, he has also appeared on screen, hosting the competition show "Söyle Söyleyebilirsen" and acting in the television series "Sil Baştan," both in 2014.

He has continued performing live and releasing new material, putting out the single "Daha 17'ye Özel Şarkı" and giving an extended concert performance in Istanbul in the summer of 2026.
