Nazlı Tolga — Biography
Nazlı Tolga (born 8 November 1979 in Ankara) is a Turkish-Dutch journalist and former television news anchor. She completed her secondary education at Üsküdar American Academy before earning a communications degree from Marmara University and a graduate degree from Galatasaray University.
Tolga began her career as an intern at Kanal D in 1998, later presenting daytime and evening news bulletins at Show TV and Skytürk. In 2007 she joined FOX (then still branded TGRT), where she anchored FOX Ana Haber for roughly seven years.
She stepped down from anchoring in June 2013 after deciding to marry and relocate abroad, wedding Dutch businessman Lawrence Brenninkmeyer that August. Since then she has lived in cities including Brazil, London and Shanghai, has taught media-training courses, and has become the mother of two daughters.
