Necip Uysal — Biography
Necip Uysal was born on 24 January 1991 in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul and is of partial Kosovar Albanian descent. Standing 1.80 m tall, he spent his entire professional career at Beşiktaş, filling roles across midfield and defense over many years with the club.
Uysal earned a cap for the Turkish national team in 2010 and went on to captain Beşiktaş, lifting eight trophies with the club across more than 460 official appearances. In May 2026 he announced his retirement from professional football, prompting Beşiktaş to organize a testimonial match in recognition of his long service.
