Nesim Özgür — Biography

Nesim Özgür, known in Bulgaria as Nesim Neshadov (Несим Нешадов), was born on 8 June 1973 in Kardzhali (Kırcaali), Bulgaria. He is a Bulgarian-born Turkish former footballer who went on to work as a players' agent.

He came through the youth system at Zeytinburnuspor and appeared in the Süper Lig for İstanbulspor, Trabzonspor, Malatyaspor and Bursaspor, while in his country of birth he played for Litex Lovech and Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Since retiring he has become a familiar voice in the Turkish sports press on the transfer market, arguing in 2019 that only seven or eight clubs in Turkey handled transfers well, and telling Fanatik in 2022 that the frenzy of the window had made the country "like a small Qatar".
