Norm Ender — Biography

Norm Ender, born Ender Eroğlu on 25 March 1985 in the Bornova district of İzmir, discovered rap at the age of ten through the group Cartel, began playing keyboard at his teachers' encouragement, and completed high school through open education. In 1999 he formed the group Norm with Erman Altınoğlu, released his first professional rap track in 2001, and reached the final of the Akademi Türkiye contest in 2004 before withdrawing when asked to perform pop songs.

The song Eksik Etek, recorded with Altınoğlu, drew huge attention and controversy, after which he stepped back from music for a time; following his military service he self-released tracks that led to his first album in 2010 and to Aura in 2017, the year Spotify ranked him among Turkey's most-streamed artists. His 2019 diss track Mekanın Sahibi passed 200 million views. To mark 100 years since the founding of the Turkish Republic he wrote the anthem Parla, and he has also worked as an actor, composer and producer, appearing in productions such as Güldür Güldür Show, Life Song, The Name Is Legend and Sahtekarlar.
