Nursena Yılmaz is a Turkish actress born in Istanbul in 1991. Her path into acting ran not through classical conservatory training but through the comedy videos she made online with her older sister; it was after gaining recognition through these videos that she stepped into television.

Her education moved between design and engineering. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Communication Design Department at Bahçeşehir University, then went on to study in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University. She did her master's degree in graphic design. This background, combining visual design and engineering training, later formed the basis of the perspective she brought to producing her own content.

The work that made her name known to a wide audience was the videos she made with her older sister, Ayşenur Yılmaz. These short videos, built around everyday-life-inspired characters and an improv-based sense of humor, drew great attention on social media and led to Nursena Yılmaz's acting talent being noticed. The sisters have also occasionally appeared together as guests on television programs.

Her best-known work as an actress is the series Jet Sosyete, broadcast on Tv8. Written by Gülse Birsel, the comedy series saw her play the character Nazlı. The large cast of the series, alongside Gülse Birsel herself, included names such as Çağlar Çorumlu, Sarp Apak, Hasibe Eren, Cengiz Bozkurt, Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, Derya Karadaş, Enis Arıkan, Bartu Küçükçağlayan, Aslı Bekiroğlu, and Şahin Irmak. Taking this role within an experienced comedy team was Nursena Yılmaz's first major step in carrying her comedic line, which began online, into professional acting.
