Oğuz Peçe — Biography

Oğuz Peçe was born in Istanbul on 22 April 1991. He graduated from Bahçeşehir University and trained as an actor. He first appeared on screen in 2014 in Çılgın Dersane Üniversitede, followed by the series Kalbim Yangın Yeri.

In 2015 he became a familiar face to younger viewers as Atakan in Kırgın Çiçekler, which began that year on ATV. He went on to appear in productions such as Zalim İstanbul and Bekle Beni Sevgilim. In August 2021, ahead of its 16th season, he joined the cast of Kanal D's long-running police drama Arka Sokaklar as Commissioner Emre. In interviews he spoke of how much it meant to act in a series he had watched since childhood. The part brought him a broad audience, and after three seasons he announced in July 2024 that he was leaving the show.

Later that year, remarks in an interview in which he spoke openly about marriage, saying he would even be open to an arranged match, drew wide coverage in the entertainment press.
