Oğuzhan Koç — Biography

Oğuzhan Koç was born on 13 May 1985 in the Refahiye district of Erzincan, the second son of Bahattin and Kıymet Koç; the family moved to Bursa after the 1992 Erzincan earthquake. He trained in music at the Bursa State Conservatory from age eight to sixteen, attended Bursa Gazi Anadolu High School, studied for a year at Dokuz Eylül University before moving to Istanbul to study anthropology, and joined the BKM workshop players in 2007.

He became known through the sketch show Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar, which began in 2008, and in 2010 he starred in the troupe's film Çok Filim Hareketler Bunlar, whose score won Best Film Music at the 17th Kral Music Awards. He wrote songs for artists including Ferhat Göçer, Gülben Ergen, Murat Dalkılıç and Murat Boz, released his debut solo album, Ben Hâlâ Rüyada, in 2013, and had hit singles such as "Küsme Aşka." With Eser Yenenler and İbrahim Büyükak he hosted the talk show 3 Adam from 2013 to 2017, served as a coach on O Ses Çocuklar, and won as a coach on O Ses Türkiye in 2021. He played Onur Güzel in the films Yol Arkadaşım (2017) and Yol Arkadaşım 2 (2018).

He was in a relationship with fellow BKM actress Zeynep Koçak from 2007 to 2015. He married actress Demet Özdemir in August 2022; the couple announced their divorce in April 2023 and finalized it that May. He is now in a relationship with singer Hazal Subaşı, and has responded to marriage questions by saying they will "look into it in the fall."
