Oktay Kuday — Biography

Oktay Kuday was born on 6 August 1979 in Karlsruhe, Germany, and became known as a German-Turkish footballer who played as a striker. He started his professional career at his hometown club Karlsruher SC before moving to Turkey, where he joined Altay.

Over the following years he wore the colors of clubs including Manisaspor, a second spell with Altay, Mardinspor, Elazığspor, Tokatspor and Göztepe, at one point also taking on the captain's armband at one of his clubs. Through these spells across different regions of Turkey he gathered experience in both the Süper Lig and the lower divisions before stepping back from the spotlight in the years that followed his playing career.
