Ömer Kılıç — Biography

Ömer Kılıç is a retired Turkish footballer, born on 24 December 1971 in Ordu, who spent most of his career playing as a right-back. After starting out with Orduspor and Sökespor, he joined Bursaspor, where he remained for ten consecutive Süper Lig seasons and eventually captained the club. His 242 league appearances rank him sixth on Bursaspor's all-time list.

Kılıç also played for Çanakkale Dardanel and Şanlıurfaspor, and earned two caps for the Turkish national team. Since retiring from professional football, he has returned to his hometown of Ordu, where he runs a business and works as a sports commentator for a local television channel.
