Ömer Ünver — Biography

Ömer Ünver (born 26 July 1981 in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey) is a Turkish professional basketball player who stands 2.01 m tall and plays as a forward. He began his professional career in 2003 and has played for clubs including Beşiktaş, Tofaş, TED Ankara Kolejliler and Olin Gençlik.

Known for his three-point shooting, Ünver won the three-point contest at the 2008 Beko All-Star Weekend while playing for Beşiktaş. Later in his career he also played for Büyükçekmece Basket.
