Öykü Özmakinacı is a Turkish actress born in Istanbul on July 23, 1999. She stepped into her acting career with television series, beginning to appear on screen while still a university student.

She pursued her education at Boğaziçi University, one of Istanbul's long-established institutions of higher learning. Her professional acting career also began during this student period, and she had her first on-camera experience directly in a series project.

Her first on-screen work was the series Gülperi, which began airing on Show TV in 2018. In this production she played the character Damla, marking the beginning of her professional acting career with her first project. In the large cast of the series, Nurgül Yeşilçay and Timuçin Esen shared the lead roles, with names such as Ece Sükan, Gülçin Kültür Şahin, Emir Özyakışır, Onur Bilge, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Rabia Soytürk, Aleyna Özgeçen, Sedef Akalın, Eylül Ersöz, Enes Demirkapı, Ejder Özkarslıgil, and Furkan Oğulcan İlker also appearing.
