Ozan Tufan — Biography
Ozan Tufan was born on 23 March 1995 in the Orhaneli district of Bursa and began his football career in Bursaspor's youth ranks. He drew early attention when, on 9 August 2012, he became the youngest player to score in European club competition with a goal against KuPS Kuopio in a UEFA Europa League qualifier; that same period he helped Turkey's U-19 side win silver at the 2013 Mediterranean Games.
A midfielder capable of playing centrally or in an advanced role, Tufan spent several seasons at Fenerbahçe before later moving to Trabzonspor. He has earned senior international caps for Turkey, including appearances at the UEFA European Championships in 2016 and 2020. Now playing for Süper Lig side Trabzonspor, he recently described winning his first trophy with the club as a special milestone after years in the game.
