Özgür Meriç is a Turkish actor born on 5 February 1992 in Adana.

Meriç completed his education at the Faculty of Agriculture of Çukurova University and also received acting training at the Metropolitan Municipality Conservatory.

The work that introduced him to wide audiences was the series Sıfır Bir, released on the internet and set in Adana. Playing the character Özgür in the series, whose cast included names such as Savaş Satış, Cihangir Ceyhan, Onur Akbay and Bertan Uçar, Meriç won the appreciation of viewers with this role and became one of the familiar faces of the period in which internet series were on the rise.
