Paşanim — Biography

Born Can David Bayram, Pashanim is a German rapper, songwriter and director born in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin to a German mother and a father of Turkish-Kurdish descent. He began rapping at twelve and in 2017 co-founded the collective Playboysmafia with fellow rappers Symba, Abuglitsch and RB 030, releasing his first songs on SoundCloud the following year. Alongside his rap career he has worked behind the camera, filming music videos for artists including Juju, Nura and Casper and directing videos for his own songs.

He first drew wide attention in early 2020 with "Shababs botten," which spread through TikTok, and made his major commercial breakthrough that May when "Airwaves" reached number two on the German charts; both singles went gold in Germany. In June 2021 his single "Sommergewitter" gave him his first German number-one, also earning a gold certification. He released the nine-track mixtape Himmel über Berlin in September 2022 and his debut studio album, 2000, in June 2024.

"Airwaves" and "Sommergewitter" each won Best National Song in consecutive years, and in 2025 he released the EP Grünewürfelflow and the mixtape junge ceos 1, followed by the track "BLN" with AK Ausserkontrolle in early 2026.
